I’m 24 in two weeks time and I am not where I want to be. When I was younger I thought by the time I was 25 I would be married with kids and had a house. As I got older I realised how young 25 is and made new goals but sometimes you can really get stuck in a rut and I’m in that rut at the moment. As the season is about to change I am going to change with it (sorry if I’m sounding a bit cliché). Here’s what I’ve got planned:

Practice Yoga every morning
When I was living in Portugal I joined a Yoga school and would go twice a week. Although my teacher was amazing and I loved every second of it, it cost me a fortune. I carry a lot of unnecessary stress on my shoulders and after a Yoga class I always feel amazing so I needed to find a quick and cheaper alternative ASAP. I’ve been a subscriber of Tara Stiles‘ Youtube channel for years but have never actually done a video. I’ve started to wake up early naturally so I’ve decided before my morning shower to do a few videos to make sure my day starts right.
Read every night
Living with your partner means that you always have someone to talk to at night. I’ve always been a big reader, I love books and I love reading but when I moved in with my boyfriend I stopped reading and started snuggling or watching movies before bed. Now that we are long distance again I can get back to my nightly routine of reading before bed. This is also great because it means that I’m not on my Ipad mindlessly trawling the web before I head off to sleep.
Skincare Routine
My skin has been very problematic for the last 5 months and I’ve been blaming it on my diet but I know it’s due to a lack of a skincare routine because my diet is actually pretty good. I get to go to a lot of beauty events where I meet a lot of older women with the most amazing skin and it’s quite embarrassing being half their age but with incomparable skin.  I’m trying out a few products at the moment so fingers crossed I will have beautiful skin in the next few months. If you have any suggestions please comment below!
Finish my To Do list
I have an endless list of things that I’ve been meaning to do like brush up on my Photoshop skills, go over Spanish grammar, learn to cook West Indian food etc. These are things I keep saying I’ll do but I never actually get round to, so every week I’m going to try my hand at something new. I think I will start this as a blog series to make sure I actually take the time to do these things.
Read the news
When I was in Portugal I got into the habit of watching the news everyday with my boyfriend and as Portuguese people in general are quite politically aware, I had to brush up on my European politics. We are not very political minded over here in the UK so I need to make sure I take at least 45 minutes of my day to watch and read the news to know what’s going on in the world.
Blog blog blog
I am going to post three times a week on the blog – Monday, Wednesday, Friday and start posting Youtube videos twice a week too. When it comes to my personal blog I am so slack as I only blog when I’m in the mood and due to the troubles of job hunting and a long distance relationship that mood isn’t always easy to find. But NO, not any more! I AM going to post three times a week without fail from now on!
I think because March is the beginning of Spring a lot of people are trying to turn over a new leaf (ha excuse the pun) and I am one of those people. Is there anything you want to change this Spring?

p.s. Feel free to tweet me making sure I’m doing what I’ve said I’m going to do… feel free to shame me as I think that’s what I need!
